Whilst most fans were content with a diet of tv favourites such as Mick McManus, Jon Cortez, Jackie Pallo and Les Kellett here at Wrestling Heritage we like to remind ourselves that there was another world; the world of Lupo the Wolf, Mitzuko Chango, Alpago, and Tarantula, alongside the more well known Doctor Death and Wildman of Borneo. 

We are talking of the world of the independent promoters. A group of independents joined together to challenge the might of Joint Promotions under the banner of the Wrestling Federation of Great Britain.

We thank a former star of the independent circuit, Whitecloud, for sending us this listing of the Federation champions sometime in 1967.
