Reunions announced for this year, all of which welcome fans:

  • Blackpool on Sunday 13th May
  • South Darenth, Kent, on Sunday 12th August
  • Ayr on  Sunday 26th August

Already announced they will be there are Heritage members Tony Scarlo, Dwight J Ingleburgh, John Tempest Mitchell, Steven Tempest Mitchell, Dale Storm, Les Prest, Lord Bertie Sinclair, Jackie Glitterboy Evans and Ray Taylor.

Philip and Bob have both been to the Blackpool Reunion previously and enjoyed it enough to return again from their homes in Switzerland and the United States.

Also there will be Johnny Kincaid, Karl Heinz, Laurie Coulton Brian "The Monk" Burgess, Dicky Swales, Jimmy Devlin, John Davidson, Jim Starskey, Sean McNeil and numerous others.

This is the big one and highly recommended to anyone who can make their way there. The Reunio Committee tell us:

"On Sunday 12th August we will see Europes oldest and largest wrestling Reunion take place as the 27th British Wrestlers Reunion will be held carrying on the tradition that has made the event so popular over the years. As always we expect 100s of wrestlers past and present and fans from around the world to gather to reminisce about the glory days of British wrestling.

We will of course be carrying on with all the Reunion favourites (why change a winning format) and this years Hall of Fame will again see a number of the all time greats being inducted. Our ever popular Souvenir programme will be produced for the 5th successive year together with wrestling items for sale, live entertainment, food and drink plus much more.

Many people who attend the Reunion have commented on the great memorabilia that we have on show and this year we will be displaying many items that have not seen the light of day for years and these will be housed in their own designated area.

We invite each and everyone one of you to join us at The Bridges, Horton Road, South Darenth, Kent for what will be another memorable day, come and join the Ring of Friendship for a day you will never forget."

This is the newest kid on the block, celebrating it's second event. There was a good turnout last time round. We've no news yet of who plans to be there this time but Dale Storm, Tommy Stepenson, Jim Starskey are good bets for now.

Would somebody please be kind enough to give me the start and finish times of the Blackpool re-union, and also where the venue is, as I am hoping to go and have to travel from Long Eaton, and probably will need an overnight stay.

Yours gratefully

The Reunion runs from 12.00 until about 5 Paul. It's at the Working Men's Club on Stanley Road.

British wrestling - great characters but the plot was always a bit of a mystery.
